HERAULT RIVER CANYONS & MONTPELLIER GARRIGUE COUNTRY,

@Didier Almon

This winding ride will take you through many types of scenery. You’ll start slowly along Mediterranean forests and an aromatic Garriguecountryside. The route will take you to the medieval village of Saint-Guilhem-le-Desert and the Herault River canyons before sliding down on winding roads that will take you to the pretty Bueges Valley. In Ganges you’ll reach the foothills of the Cévennes National Park. The itinerary ends with the “Glass Maker Road”: a great story zigzagging back to Montpellier between Garrigue and vineyards...

LANGUEDOC VINEYARDS AND THE ORB VALLEY,

@Didier Almon

Head for the heights with this itinerary which will take you to the Haut Languedoc Natural and Regional Park on a roller coaster ride… Start riding on gentle roads boarded with green oaks. In a zigzagging manner you will soon be in the heart of the lovely Orb Valley surrounded by local Saint-Chinian and Berlou Languedoc wineyards. As this itinerary slowly surges into the Orb mountains,the ride becomes mysterious… The twisty roads pass through dense forests, and go round hills suddenly lit by the Languedoc sun. Choose to ride back via the magnificent and colorful Salagou Lake.
